Alles auf neu!
Die Pandemie hat auch meine Portraitfotografie die letzten 1 1/2 Jahre fast zum Erliegen gebracht. Ich hab die Zeit genutzt um meine Homepage komplett neu zu launchen. Die alte Version war ein buntes Sammelsurium von Technologien und es wurde immer schwerer sie instandzuhalten. Die neue baut nun komplett auf WordPress auf.
Viele alte Inhalte habe ich nicht übernommen, aber einige Favoriten sind immer noch da. Generell plane ich in Zukunft mehr und öfter kleine ’short stories‘ im Blog und gelegentlich auch längere Kommentare zum Stand der Fotografie. Jetzt, da die neue Technik mehr oder weniger steht kann ich mich wieder mehr um den Inhalt als um die Form kümmern.
Jede Pandemie geht irgendwann zu Ende und ich bin jetzt bereits wieder outdoor aktiv und ab Ende August auch wieder indoor. Und ich bin zeitlich und räumlich flexibler als ich es früher war. Plane öfters auch mal auf Reisen zu gehen um ein Shootingprojekt zu realisieren.
Eines kann ich versprechen: Ich lebe diesen Traum fotografisch kreativ zu sein. Mehr denn je! Keine Kompromisse mehr. (Er-)lebe, erschaffe, hab Spaß!

The pandemic has almost stopped my portraiture projects for almost 18 months now. But I used the time to set up my homepage from scratch. My old one was a patchwork of different styles and outdated technologies and it has become increasingly difficult to keep it safe and up to date. The new one is now based on the latest technologies. So I can concentrate more on content rather than design in the future.
You will not find that much of my old content anymore here, which is somewhat ok. Some of my all time favorites are still here, though. Some work that has not been presented yet. And there will be more short stories and picture series about current and past projects soon. And some longer essays about my views on contemporary portrait photography. Some bilingual, some German only – sorry for that ;-).
Every pandemic will end and I’m already performing outdoor shootings again. Starting end of August also indoor shootings will be possible. I can also realize more shooting travels in the future and I’m exited to try that out. Living my dream of being creative as a portrait photographer. No compromises. Just do it and have fun!
